Chapter 1

Siya's POV:

Life in Singapore presents its challenges, but I have found myself adjusting to the culture here since my departure from India.

The art scene in Singapore is particularly intriguing, with artists creating captivating sculptures that delve into the realm of sensuality.

For me, romance is an emotion that must be experienced before it can be translated into art. Following my graduation, I decided to pursue my childhood dream of becoming a sculptor, and this path has led me to where I am today.

Despite the distance, my sister and closest friend, Shanvi, now resides in Syria.

Our online conversations and video chats help bridge the gap between us, keeping our bond strong despite the physical distance.

Currently, I am running my own workshop, juggling multiple projects while also imparting knowledge about the significance of sculpture to my students.

Suddenly, the wind started blowing very fast, I couldn't understand what was happening. Then, in no time, the lights went out. I am currently working in my building workshop because I need to provide students with extra explanation on the project.

So, I decided to shut down the project and come here early in the morning to continue it.

As I was about to go downstairs through the corridor, someone grabbed me from my waist and pulled me forcefully.

My heart raced as I struggled against the unknown assailant, trying to break free from their grip.

Panic set in as I realized I was completely alone, with no one around to hear my cries for help.

I fought with all my strength, kicking and screaming as I tried to escape the clutches of my attacker.

Adrenaline coursed through my veins as I desperately searched for a way out of the room.

But no matter how hard I tried, the grip on my waist only tightened, making it impossible for me to break free.

Fear consumed me as I realized the gravity of the situation.

Who was this person? What did they want from me? Questions raced through my mind as I struggled to find a way to defend myself and escape from the dark room.

ith one final burst of energy, I managed to break free from the grip and sprint towards the door.

His body got the fire alarm to break in the moment and the šŸšØ started blowing.

I flung it open and ran down the corridor, not stopping until I reached the safety of the outside world.

Security guards tried to caught him as they were alerted too due to the siren but the attacker ran away from their hold.

The experience left me shaken and terrified, but I knew I had to gather my wits and figure out what had just happened.

As I made my way home, I couldn't shake the feeling of being watched, of being followed.

The events of few moments back would haunt me for days to come, a constant reminder of the dangers that lurked in the shadows.

But one thing was for certain - I would never forget the feeling of being forcefully pulled into that dark room, and the fear that gripped me in its icy embrace.

After running inside the house, I quickly closed the door to my room and the main door of my house.

Once I had locked them, I took a deep breath and entered my room.

As soon as I entered the room, I found someone sitting there waiting for me.

I started feeling a strange fear, my hands and feet started trembling.

I couldn't understand what to do.

His face was not visible, he was turned on the other side, but as he turned towards me, he wasn't someone else, he was my friend Daniel.

I couldn't believe my eyes. Daniel, my friend whom I had known for years, was standing in front of me with a look of concern on his face.

I tried to calm myself down, but the fear was still gripping me tightly.

I mustered up the courage to ask him what was going on, why he was here in this strange situation.

Daniel explained that he had been following me, worried about my well-being after getting news from guards.

He had seen me acting strangely and wanted to make sure I was okay.

Relief washed over me as I realized that my friend was just looking out for me.

I thanked him for his concern and apologized for not realizing it was him sooner.

Daniel smiled and reassured me that everything was going to be okay.

"I assure you that I am perfectly fine now, and you can go ahead and leave", i said giving him a light hug.

I have managed to calm myself down, despite the fact that he looked deep into my eyes and mentioned ,"their is cold winds and stormy weather outside. Is there any issue if I decide to leave the house tomorrow?".

I have a house with four rooms, even though I live alone. I have these rooms to accommodate any situation that may arise.

Due to concerns about the weather and potential attacks, I decided to offer a room to Daniel.

I assured him that he could stay for a night and that I would prepare the room for his comfort.

I arranged his room next to mine, hoping to make his stay more convenient and comfortable.

He had agreed to it without any objections, so I assumed everything was fine.

However, as I stepped out of the bathroom after my long shower, I was taken aback to find him sitting on the sofa in my room.

A mixture of surprise and unease washed over me as I noticed his the intense gaze fixed upon me.

It was a look that made me feel vulnerable and uneasy, as if his intentions were far from innocent. Despite our friendship, I couldn't shake off the unsettling feeling that something was amiss.

Gathering my courage, I decided to address the situation directly. Trying to maintain a calm demeanor, I suggested,

"It's quite late now, and we both need a good night's sleep. You should go and sleep in your own room."

My voice carried a hint of firmness, hoping to convey that his presence in my room was unwelcome.

However, instead of complying with my request, he remained seated, his gaze unyielding.

The silence in the room grew heavy, and I could feel my heart pounding in my chest.

It was clear that my words had not deterred him, and his refusal to leave only heightened my discomfort.

Realizing that my safety and peace of mind were at stake, I mustered up the courage to assert myself further.

"I insist that you leave my room immediately Daniel, i need to sleep" I said, my voice now laced with a touch of urgency.

It was crucial to establish boundaries and make it clear that his actions were unacceptable.

Finally, after what felt like an eternity, he reluctantly rose from the sofa, his eyes still fixed on me.

As he made his way towards the door, I couldn't help but feel a sense of relief mixed with lingering unease.

It was a stark reminder that even those we consider friends can sometimes harbor intentions that are far from honorable.

Closing the door behind him, I took a deep breath, trying to steady my racing thoughts.

Author's POV :

Daniel, while on the call, "Yes, she is completely terrorized", addressing the person as "sir."

"Your payment will be transferred once you leave that place"

Stating this the call was disconnected by the commander.

The person on the call instructed Daniel to immediately vacate the premises.

Daniel left Siya's property immediately.

------------------------

Siya's POV:

After waking up early in the morning, I pondered about checking on Daniel.

As soon as I went out the room and checked, he was not in his room.

The door was open, so I called out his name, but he was nowhere to be found. Perhaps he had already left.

I checked my phone, but there was no message from him.

Also a news from the office that the attacker guy was trying to stole Yangila (Name of that sculpture) sculpture which got ready for the International Auction which is in next month in India.

I was all set to head to my workshop when suddenly I received a call from my manager while on the way.

He informed me that a VIP, who holds 90% shares in the aviation industry in Singapore, is coming to look at the sculptures.

What a pleasant morning! As I hurried through the streets, I was unexpectedly attacked by some people.

Fear ran in my veins passing shivers in my body.

As I raced through the streets, my heart pounding in my chest, I was suddenly surrounded by 2 masked man who seemed intent on causing me harm.

The memories of the previous night came rushing back, filling me with a sense of dread and fear.

"Can someone please help me?"

" What is it that you guys want? Please, spare me for the sake of God."i kicked in the air trying to get out from their hold.

I screamed as I'm feeling so lost and confused right now.

But then, in the midst of my despair, something unimaginable happened.

Out of nowhere, a deafening gunshot pierced the air, shattering the tense silence.

(Who it could be guys?Give your thoughts in the comments. šŸ«£šŸ¤šŸ˜,accha ma chali tum aage book enjoy karo)-DeašŸ¤šŸŽ€

Startled, I turned to see the person who had been holding me by the neck collapse to the ground, releasing their grip on me.

Other one was looking behind me and ran away from the place

My heart raced as I tried to comprehend what had just occurred.

Turning around as I scanned the area, my eyes widened in disbelief.

There was no one there.

Again a mysterious figure came in my view who materialized before me, holding the very gun that had just been fired.

The stranger's face was completely concealed by a scarf, leaving only their piercing grey eyes visible.

Fear and curiosity mingled within me as I struggled to find my voice.

Before I could utter a single word, the enigmatic man spoke, his voice laced with an air of authority. He warned me ,

"You must go home safely rather than wandering alone in quiet places."

Saying this he departed, leaving me in a state of utter astonishment, as I remained rooted to my spot, contemplating the whirlwind of events that had transpired within a mere 15minutes.

I decided to walk away while my mind was still reeling from the events that transpired in a mere quarter of an hour.

His words carried a weight of concern, as if he knew the dangers that lurked in the shadows, waiting to prey on unsuspecting souls like mine.

Confusion still clouded my mind, but a newfound sense of gratitude washed over me.

In that moment, I realized that this mysterious stranger had intervened to protect me, to save me from a fate I couldn't fathom.

Though his motives remained unknown, his actions spoke volumes.

As I walked through the quiet streets, the weight of the encounter lingered, leaving an indelible mark on my soul.

I couldn't help but wonder about the stranger who had appeared out of nowhere, the one who had saved me from a potentially tragic fate.

Who was he?

What were his intentions?

And most importantly, why had he chosen to intervene in my life?

Siya stop overthinking and just Be thankful, i reminded myself how judgy i was being.

I reminded myself to stop overthinking and simply be grateful as I made my way to the Shop quitting all the thoughts.

Upon entering, I inquired with my manager regarding their whereabouts.

"They informed me that they would be arriving in 10 minutes as they were caught in traffic."

Furthermore, I sought clarification on the specific details of what they wanted to order, as well as any additional requests they may have had, in order to adequately prepare myself.

"No maam they have said they will visit the place first."she said gently.

"Oh ok , fine Inform me after settling them in the conference room after their arrival."

I decided to visit the classrooms to observe the activities of my students.

I was checking onto sculptures and telling them there where to deep to get the alive alignments of the sculptures so that they will look more expressive .

Suddenly a familiar voice reached in my ears making my heart skip a beat.

"Ms. Singhaniya your work and way of teaching is quite impressive".

I turned around to look but i can't believe my eyes.

How?

I mean ,why?

For what on the Earth, he is here?
